We are currently seeking a highly motivated Logistics Assistant to join our team.
This individual would be responsible for performing all duties related to incoming and outgoing inventory in our warehouse and at job sites. Key features include:
Move inventory, or other materials to and from warehouse, storage or project site, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks, dollies, or other equipment.
Ensure proper inventory is prepped before loading and unloading.
Work with other Team members, including design team
Ability to use various apps and tools. Inventory Management skills are a plus
Must possess a strong constitution and ability to follow Safety Compliance.
Requirements:
Moving experience is preferred but not required
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced, time-pressured, dynamic environment.
Ability to interact professionaly and respectfully with clients
Additional Information:
This position may involve occasional weekend or evening work based on project requirements.
Reliable, self-motivated and flexible with schedule.
Be able to lift up to 30lbs by yourself or more with the help of others.
Be able to walk up and down the stairs while carrying staging supplies.
Work Environment:
A logistics assistant will typically work in the homes of property owners as well as in our warehouses while loading, unloading and putting away inventory (furniture and accessories.)
This position will typically work during regular business hours, but will need to be available to work on projects outside of normal business hours.
Compensation: $17.00 - 19.00/hour depending on experience
Hours: Part time and flexible
